ABOUT LITTLE BEAN 小豆釘Little Bean is a theatre company focusing on Cantonese speaking children and families in the UK, founded by a London-based group of theatre, music and multi-arts practitioners, most of whom are from Hong Kong. As Cantonese is the most spoken Chinese language in the UK, Little Bean’s objective is to use arts expertise to help preserve the Cantonese language and culture by producing interactive performances across the UK for young children and families. Little Bean also performs English and Mandarin versions of their productions alongside the Cantonese originals to reach out to a wider audience.
幾位旅居英國的香港演藝及教育工作者2018年組成的「小豆釘」劇團，是一個專為廣東話家庭及小朋友而設的跨媒介藝術團體。劇團以不同藝術媒介，例如互動音樂劇，木偶劇等推廣廣東話教育，鼓勵及支持移民或旅居英國的香港人及華僑家庭傳承廣東話為母語。劇團亦會製作英文及普通話版本演出，令學習中文為第二語言的非華語家庭亦能受惠。
