Gigi Chiying Lam 林芝瑛Co-Founder & Co-Artistic DirectorGigi Chiying LAM is a Hong Kong born community music facilitator based in London, who is currently undertaking a PhD in Music Education at Royal College of Music London, supervised by Dr. Jennie Henley. She is supported by Charles Richard Sisson Scholarship, Goodenough Doctoral Scholarship and Cecilia Kwok Music Scholarship. Her doctoral research focuses on the community music scene in Hong Kong and musicians' perceptions in community practices. Her career has involved creating and sharing music in many different contexts. Since 2004, she has directed musical productions, theatre plays and performances. She has hosted workshops and community arts festivals addressing different social issues including gender equality and women's empowerment. Alongside conducting community choirs and teaching, she is currently developing community music practices into school music education.
林芝瑛為活躍於倫敦與香港的社區音樂工作者,現於英國倫敦皇家音樂學院(Royal College of Music, London)修讀哲學博士課程,主力研究社區音樂與香港音樂教育的發展。現與不同機構合作負責設計音樂會主題及籌辦互動音樂教育工作坊,致力推廣音樂的不同可能性。 林氏畢業於香港教育大學,完成音樂教育文學碩士及中學(音樂)教育榮譽學士課程,在學期間獲頒香港賽馬會獎學金, 友邦慈善信託基金及教院獎學金。林氏曾於2013年前往法國國際戲劇/劇場教育會議(IDEA)及2012年於希臘舉辦之國際音樂教育會議(ISME)發表其戲劇合唱教學法論文,2016年英國格拉斯哥舉行社區音樂示範工作坊。 林氏曾為多個本地及海外團體合作,籌辦各項音樂會,劇場製作及社區藝術活動。林氏於香港教育學院擔任項目經理期間,亦籌辦一系列外展社區藝術活動,繆思音樂會系列及ARTiViva社區綜藝節。協助策劃與聯繫社區各界人士和藝術家以互動形式把不同的藝術與生活串連。 |
Bonnie Chan 陳菀甄Co-Founder & Co-Artistic DirectorBonnie Chan is a theatre maker, practitioner and researcher graduated with MA in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy in the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She graduated with a Master of Arts in East-West Drama in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Bonnie worked in the Literary Department of Royal Shakespeare Company on the Chinese Classics Translation Project. She has also worked in the Performing Arts Department as Senior Researcher in the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and as Research Executive in Cantonese Opera Education Research and Promotion Project in the University of Hong Kong before moving to the U.K. She is also an experienced Cantonese teacher for toddlers and children. She has been a drama teacher for young kids and youth for years in Hong Kong and Singapore. Her theatre works and academic papers have been presented in international art festivals and conferences in different countries including Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, Portugal, France, UK and the Netherlands. She was the guest curator of International Community Arts Festival in Rotterdam in 2017. She was awarded West Kowloon Young Fellow 2019 with her project with Little Bean. 陳菀甄為劇場工作者及研究員,香港中文大學東西戲劇研究碩士,並於皇家中央演講及戲劇學院修畢戲劇評論及戲劇構作碩士課程。曾於皇家莎士比亞劇團文學部任職,協助推展中國經典劇目翻譯計劃。移居英國前,陳氏為香港西九文化區表演藝術部高級研究員,亦曾任香港大學任高級研究員,專責粵劇教育推廣及研究。 陳氏有豐富廣東話教學經驗,具多年幼兒廣東話唱遊及兒童廣東話導師經驗;她亦曾於香港及新加坡任兒童及青少年戲劇導師多年。陳氏歷年多次於國際學術會議發表戲劇論文及於國際藝術節演出,並獲匯豐銀行獎學金於倫敦外西城區劇場實習。2017年獲邀擔任於荷蘭舉行之國際社區藝術節客席策劃人。陳氏於2019年以「小豆釘──唱唱跳跳廣東話」成為西九藝術教育創研計劃得獎者。 |
Jessica Andrews 顏緻嘉Associate Artist
Jessica Andrews is a puppeteer and dramaturg raised in Saskatoon, Canada. She has previously studied at The University of South Wales in Cardiff and The University of Arts in Targu-Mures, Romania, and has worked in theatres across the UK and in Australia.
Jessica is now based in London and completed a Masters degree in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Most recently she has appeared as a puppeteer in Rise! (Greenwich and Docklands International Festival 2018). Jessica為加拿大木偶師及戲劇構作,於南威爾斯大學及羅馬尼亞藝術大學畢業,於皇家中央演講及戲劇學院修畢戲劇評論及戲劇構作碩士課程。Jessica曾於英國及澳洲劇團工作。近期演出包括於格林威治及港區國際藝術節擔任大型木偶偶師。 |
Cynthia WS Cheung 張瑋珊Company and Production ManagerAfter working years as an HR administrator in a commercial setting, Cynthia switched her career to the arts and creative field and work as a freelancer in stage management and art administration, based in Edinburgh. She graduated in Stage Management and Technical Production at Edinburgh Stage Management School, focus on project management and stage production for different ability group to further pursue her career in the performing arts. She believes in positive influences in life and would like to make the most of her life by bringing positivity to others. She speaks native Cantonese, fluent English and Mandarin.
張瑋珊,舞台管理及製作人,擁有多年商業人事行政經驗後以自由工作者身份轉投藝術及創作行業發展,現居愛丁堡。張氏畢業於愛丁堡舞台管理學院,專注向不同能力的表演團體提供舞台管理及技術製作。她相信「用生命影響生命」,致力以自己的知識技能及正能量的性格,令更多人的生命變得更有意義。 |
Yik-Sau Chung 鍾益秀Associate ArtistYik-Sau Chung is an actor from Hong Kong with passion in theatre and dance. After receiving a scholarship from Lee Hysan Foundation (HK), she has finished her three-year training in BA (Hons) Acting (Collaborative and Devised Theatre) at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London this summer. Also Graduated from BA (Hons) Chinese Language and Literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and received physical theatre training in Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio (HK), Yik-Sau seeks to bring her heritage to reach a broader audience, and explore intercultural conversations through devising. School productions include: The American Clock (dir. by Gretchen Egolf), People of the Abyss (dir. by Miranda Henderson & Alister O'Loughlin, Prodigal UPG), Welcome to Thebes (dir. by Ollie Dimsdale & Ferdy Roberts, Filter Theatre Company). Recent Credit: To Fly Before We Fall (Prodigal UPG) as part of Dance Umbrella (London).
鍾益秀畢業於香港中文大學中國語言及文學系,並為鄧樹榮戲劇工作室「一年制專業形體戲劇青年訓練課程」第一屆畢業生;其後獲得利希慎基金之海外升學獎學金,往倫敦皇家中央戲劇學院接受演員訓練,主修表演(協同編作劇場)。在校期間演出包括:《美國時鐘》、《深淵居民》、《歡迎蒞臨底比斯》。最近十月參與劇團Prodigal UPG於倫敦舞蹈節Dance Umbrella之演出《To Fly Before We Fall》。 |
